• Katie Ritz as Penny Eisenstein

    Katie Ritz as Penny Eisenstein

Katie Ritz is an actor, writer, and voice over artist, as well as the founder of The SummerCamp Collective.

Her love for acting began the moment she decided she wanted to be Red on “Fraggle Rock.” Later, the discovery of angsty teen dramas with their ability to poignantly envelope hopes, fears and dreams all to a kickass soundtrack, pinpointed exactly what Ritz dreamed to creatively convey as an actress and writer.

She is an introverted optimist with a child-like warrior spirit who believes cake & the color yellow can brighten any moment, days without giggling should never happen, and curse words should be a prerequisite in any great conversation. She can usually be found happily baking gluten-free treats while dancing in her kitchen or snuggled up reading outdoors on her apartment balcony.

Currently, she is looking for VO representation in LA, hard at work on a pilot centered around a group of friends who become amateur detectives, as well as a novel about what it means to become “unstuck” and come-of-age at any age.

You can connect and learn more about Katie at www.katieritz.com or on Twitter + IG as @katieritzsmiles
